Requesting Items to be Sent to South Haven Campus (Online Catalog)

The library's Online Catalog , allows you to search books and audio-visuals held in the Hessel Library on the Napier campus. Please also note that the netLibrary eBooks are also searchable in the Online Catalog . When you search the Catalog, you can request circulating items to be sent to the South Haven campus. Below is a sample subject search. It is highly recommended to use the second search box if you do not know the correct wording or order of subject headings.

Notice the "Request a Copy" located at the top of the record above. Before requesting the title to be sent, look at the location field of the record (Main Collection, which is circulating). Then note the Status field. In this example, the item is available for checkout. Here is a sample of the Patron Request form. You will need to fill out the fields. If you don't have a library/ID card, go to the main office.

Make sure you click on "Submit." The library staff will receive this request. The requested item(s) will be sent to the South Haven campus. Staff at the South Haven campus will call you when they receive the requested item(s). You may return the items at the main office at the South Haven campus.

Library/ID Card and Off-Campus Passwords

Stop by the main office to receive your library/ID card. Present your photo ID and class schedule. Hold on to the card, and keep it updated each semester with the current sticker, available at the office. Access Wavelink with your student ID number and your password, and then select Academic Resources, to locate the library's remote access passwords to the subscription databases.
