Beginning in January 2014, Lake Michigan College will offer computerized GED testing at its M-TEC facility. The electronic system will replace the current paper-based testing method offered, and will make registration and participation easier for test takers.
The Lake Michigan College Music Department will hold entrance and scholarship auditions for new music students in June. Auditions will be heard in room MC-103 of the LMC Mendel Center for Arts & Technology on the College’s Napier Avenue campus in Benton Harbor.
Greg Binger of St. Joseph and a graduate of St. Joseph High School, received the 2012-2013 Lake Michigan College Outstanding Musician Award.
During the April 17 recycling event at the Lake Michigan College South Haven campus, more than 10,000 pounds of unwanted electronics were collected.
