Frequently Asked Questions:

Some common questions we receive are listed below. If you have any other questions, visit nsls.org to chat with a team member or email them at support@nsls.org.

What do I have to do to become inducted?

The Steps to Induction take approximately 9-10 hours over the course of the semester and you can complete it at your own pace.

  1. Attend orientation where you will learn about the steps to induction and review the calendar of events for the semester.
  2. Complete Leadership Training Day when you’ll identify your goals and create a plan to achieve them.
  3. Participate in Success Networking Team Meetings with a group of peers throughout the semester during which you will set personal goals, share advice, and inspire each other to reach your goals; this allows you to focus on what you want out of life and develop the skills to achieve it.
  4. Explore leadership topics through speaker broadcasts featuring high-profile leaders who offer candid, off-the-record insights and a behind-the-scenes look at different fields and industries.
  5. Be recognized during the induction ceremony in the spring semester for completing the above steps on your leadership journey.
