Bernard C. Radde Distinguished Service Award: Anne Erdman

Anne Erman was awarded the Bernard C. Radde Distinguished Service Award in 2004.

Anne C. Erdman, vice president of Administrative Services and Special Assistant to the President at Lake Michigan College, has provided vital leadership in academic program development, facilities management and human resources.

She has developed employee recognition programs, crafted a five-year facilities plan that became the model for statewide reporting, reorganized bookstore operations,
and established on-campus childcare. She also negotiated the partnership with Western Michigan University for its presence on the LMC campuses.

Anne has led five major, national award-winning construction projects including the Bertrand Crossing Campus, M-TEC, One Stop Student and Financial Services Center, the South Haven Campus, and the Mendel Center for Arts and Technology. All have allowed the College to better serve the community through new cultural and educational opportunities.

Anne has demonstrated her leadership skills as an active volunteer at the College, in the community, and with several national and statewide organizations focused on
community college services.
