Alumni Service Award: Melissa Stolfo

Melissa Stolfo’s avocation has been to support those in need of assistance in achieving their personal and professional goals.

An employee at Goodwill Industries of Michiana for 12 years, she is the director of workforce development for the IMPACT program. Melissa is also an adjunct instructor at LMC, where she has been teaching English for eight years.

Involved in a number of professional and community associations, she is an advisory board member of Step Ahead and a board member for the Indiana Rehabilitation Association. She is also a volunteer for the Indiana Department of Corrections. 

She earned a certificate in Corrections and an Associate of Arts degree from LMC. While at LMC, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. She went on to graduate cum laude from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Student Planned Curriculum, Technical Writing.

Melissa Stolfo received an Alumni Service Award in 2009.
