Alumni Service Award: Patrick Lynch

Patrick Lynch is a registered pharmacist and has been the proud operator, for the last 24 years, of Hill’s Prescription Shop in Paw Paw. His leadership is visible through three former employees he has supervised and mentored, who have gone on to pursue a pharmacy career. In addition to his pharmacy business, Pat is on the Board of Directors and part-owner of the Heritage Glen Golf Course development in Paw Paw.

Pat serves as a trustee on the Board of Education for Paw Paw Public Schools, as a board member for the Paw Paw Downtown Development Authority, a two-time past president of the Kiwanis Club of Paw Paw, a past president of the Paw Paw Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Economic Club of Southwest  Michigan. In the past, he was on the Board of Directors at Lakeview Community Hospital, and a member of the American Cancer Society of Kalamazoo.

After receiving an Associate in Science degree from LMC in 1967, Pat attended Michigan State University, and then transferred to Ferris State College where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy in 1971.

Patrick Lynch received an Alumni Service Award in 2011.
