Lake Michigan College is looking for pregnant volunteers to help our Sonography students learn and practice by offering FREE 3D/4D ultrasounds. Scanning will take place at the Benton Harbor campus on most Wednesdays through mid-April. Appointments typically are an hour.
Ultrasounds are offered as a practice opportunity for Sonography program students. While they are under the direction of professional Sonographers and program faculty, they are still learning. Your participation will help them become amazing professionals in the industry.
Volunteers must be between 21-35 weeks at the time of appointment and must have had their first fetal anatomy scan with an OB/GYN.
Appointments are limited at this time due to COVID-19. Some restrictions and protocols are in place to ensure the safety of volunteers and students. Appointments will be scheduled on a first-come basis. When the schedule is full, any remaining volunteers will be placed on a call-back list in case of cancellations.
For more information or to schedule an appointment, please email the Health Sciences Office at HealthSciences@lakemichigancollege.edu. When requesting an appointment, please include your name, due date, and phone number.
