Definitions:
- Student Cohort - Students enrolled for the indicated cohort term who:
a. Enrolled in college for the first time
b. Enrolled as a full-time student
c. Are seeking a degree - Completers Within 150% - Students who received their degree/certificate within 150% of normal program time
a. Three (3) semesters for one-year certificates
b. Six (6) semesters for two-year certificates - Transfer Out - Students the institution knows has changed their enrollment to another institution
- Still Enrolled – Students who are enrolled for at least one credit hour in year preceding the reporting term indicated
- No Longer Enrolled – Students who are not enrolled in year preceding the term indicated and are not counted in any other category
- Completers Within 100% - Students who received their degree/certificate within 100% of normal program time
a. Two (2) semesters for one-year certificates
b. Four (4) semesters for two-year certificates
Calculations:
1. 150% GRADUATION RATE = (TOTAL COMPLETERS WITHIN 150%) / (TOTAL STUDENT COHORT)
2. TRANSFER OUT RATE = (TOTAL TRANSFER OUT) / (TOTAL STUDENT COHORT)
