The Online Accounting Associate in Applied Science program is designed for ambitious, motivated full-time students interested in completing their degree in a five-semester, fast-paced, entirely remote, structured environment.

This 20-month, accelerated online version of the traditional Accounting Associate in Applied Science program will prepare you for entry-level accounting positions, including bookkeeper, accounts payable, payroll clerk, or assistant to an accountant. You will compute, classify, record, and verify financial data and develop and maintain financial records.

Structured around a combination of 7-week and 14-week courses, this program is designed to minimize the number of classes you need to manage at once while allowing you to take a full course load each semester.

Can't decide between transferring for a bachelor's degree and moving into the workforce right away? The first two semesters of LMC's online business programs are identical, allowing you to decide after completing two semesters of coursework.

Courses in the Online Accounting Associate in Applied Science program are taught by full-time faculty members and seasoned educators dedicated to being accessible and responsive to students' needs in a virtual environment. While many classes meet remotely via webcam on scheduled days and times, there is a mix of Flexible Learning Environment, Remote, Hybrid Remote and Online courses with both one-on-one and small group support in place.
