As an administrator and educator, Ms. Mason is dedicated to the success of learners and has worked in higher education for nine years. Ms. Mason is a servant leader and strong advocate for community partnerships that aid students in attaining their educational goals. Her educational background includes a Master's of Business Administration and Master of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix. She is also a member of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).

Associate in Applied Science, Nursing

A Southwest Michigan local, Erin attended art classes at Lake Michigan College as a dual-enrolled high school student, focusing on portrait drawing and traditional mediums. She completed her Associate in Arts (AA) degree but wanted to explore long-term employment opportunities in a professional or healthcare setting. Erin returned to LMC to complete an Associate in Applied Business (AAB) degree in Office Information Systems. During her studies, Erin participated in the Work Study program and became further interested in higher education. She joined the Health Sciences team as a full-time staff member in May 2015. Erin is completing her bachelor’s degree through Siena Heights University.

Erin directly supports the Dean of Health Sciences, in addition to Health Science faculty, staff, and students. Erin oversees many daily operations within the Health Sciences Office; she also processes Health Science program admission applications and works closely with the Academic Advising Team as a navigator for prospective, newly admitted, and current Health Science program students. Erin finds joy in supporting student success at all levels, from admission to graduation, and especially loves to see program graduates working in the local community!

In her spare time, Erin enjoys playing video games, crafts, music, and spending time outside or in the garden (when Michigan weather allows).
