- No Federal or State appropriated funds have been paid or will be paid, by or on behalf of the College, to pay any person for influencing or attempting to influence an officer or employee of any Federal or State Agency, a Member of Congress, an officer or employee of Congress, or an employee of a Member of Congress in connection with the making of any Federal or State grant, awarding of any Federal or State contract, the entering into any cooperative agreement, and the extension, continuation, renewal, amendment, or modification of any Federal or State grant or cooperative agreement.
- If any funds other that Federal or State appropriated funds have been paid or will be paid to any person for influencing or attempting to influence an officer or employee of any agency, a Member of Congress, an officer or employee of Congress, or an employee of a Member of Congress in connection with this Federal or State grant or cooperative agreement, Lake Michigan College shall complete and submit Federal Standard Form LLL, “Disclosure Report of Lobbying Activities," in accordance with its instructions.
- The College shall require that the language of this certificate be included in the award documents for all sub-awards at all tiers (including subgrants, contracts under grants and cooperative agreements, and subcontracts) and that all subrecipients shall certify and disclose accordingly.
