Lake Michigan College realizes there is a shared responsibility for learning. Student learning outcomes are measured and tracked at the course, discipline/ program, and institution levels. In each course, students are asked to utilize the course objectives to guide their studies and identify the student learning outcomes. Instructors carefully monitor how well students are doing in their course based on instructional design and learning outcomes. Utilizing student feedback and
student learning outcomes assessment data, adjustments are made, and outcomes are continuously measured to ensure quality instruction. Students will find the student learning outcomes for each course in the course syllabus.
