Alex Stewart received her undergraduate degree from Marquette University, where she studied Elementary/Middle Education. She graduated with her MEd from Loyola University, Chicago in Cultural and Educational Policy Studies. Alex taught for eight years and is excited to continue to support students as the Upward Bound Academic Programs Coordinator. She is passionate about assisting students in cultivating habits for success and motivation to explore their passions.
In her free time Alex enjoys visiting her friends and family in Indiana, exploring Northern Michigan and staying active. She is thrilled to join the Lake Michigan College Community!
