Dr. David Krueger is a higher education professional with over 35 years extensive experience in collaborating and partnering with educational professionals, university administrators, industry and community leaders. Dr. Krueger began his career as a high school agriculture teacher and career and technical education (CTE) professional in Idaho before moving to Michigan to earn a doctorate degree in Agriculture and Extension Education at Michigan State University and begin preparing the next generation of professional educators. Dr. Krueger has collaborated on many curriculum projects around the country and started CTE programs to meet the needs of the ever-changing skilled workforce landscape.

In the summer of 2023 Dr. Krueger accepted the position of Dean, Career and Workforce Education at Lake Michigan College. Dr. Krueger directs programs which offer a wide range of degrees and certificates through a blend of applied, project-based curricula that equips a diverse group of students with strong analytical capabilities, the latest in cutting-edge technologies, and the skills for innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership. 

Dr. Krueger and his wife Rosanne enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren as well as the many hidden treasurers Michigan has to offer.
