Our Mission
The Lake Michigan College Student Senate fosters opportunities for students to engage, connect, and grow within a safe and inclusive environment. We believe in the power of student voices and strive to make LMC a place where every student feels seen, heard, and supported.
Our Goals
-
Engagement & Retention: We’re committed to increasing student involvement in campus life by creating events and opportunities that inspire participation and build a vibrant community.
-
Awareness: We promote awareness of available campus resources and keep students informed about important events and opportunities happening throughout the college.
-
Connections: Our goal is to strengthen student relationships and networks, encouraging collaboration, friendship, and mutual support across the LMC community.
-
Financial Literacy: We provide initiatives that help students develop financial skills—from budgeting to understanding financial aid—empowering them to take control of their financial futures.
