VPA's Drama Showcase slated for Friday, Dec. 9
The Lake Michigan College Visual & Performing Arts Department presents the Fall Drama Showcase at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9. The showcase will be held in the LMC Mendel Center Hanson Theatre on the Benton Harbor Campus located at 2755 E. Napier Ave.
Students from the Visual & Performing Arts Department’s Introduction to Theatre, Acting I/II, and Musical Theatre classes will share their work from the semester, presenting a short evening of scenes, monologues, and songs in an informal revue setting. The instructors presenting students are Dr. Patrick King and Rebecca Derbas-Selvidge.
“This event is a once-a-semester opportunity for students in the theatre area to share their work-in-progress with each other, friends, family, and any interested folk who want to explore the program,” King said.
Admission is free and open to the public.
