Are you passionate about cooking, creating delicious dishes, or the art of winemaking? Our Culinary and Wine & Viticulture programs are your chance to turn that passion into a career! In the Culinary program, you’ll learn the skills needed to become a sought-after chef, mastering everything from cooking techniques to menu planning. If wine is more your style, the Wine & Viticulture major will teach you the ins and outs of grape growing, wine production, the science of wine, and even wine tasting. Both programs offer hands-on experience and the opportunity to work with industry professionals, setting you up for success in the culinary arts or the vibrant wine industry. Whether you dream of running your own kitchen, managing a vineyard, or creating the next great vintage, we can help you make your mark in the food and beverage world!

Even though he was busy working at local restaurants throughout college, Rodrigo Abarca was very active at LMC cooking for students, staff, and faculty at on-campus events. Since earning degrees in Culinary and Hospitality in 2018, Rodrigo made his dream a reality, opening his restaurant, Oaks Eatery, earlier this year in Three Oaks, Michigan.
