Mark D. Weber is the chief executive officer of YMCA of Greater Michiana, where he provides leadership to three fitness facilities, two childcare centers, and one resident camp.

His passion lies in strengthening communities by offering programs that support people at every stage of life, both at the Y and beyond its brick-and-mortar facilities where services are needed most.

Before his tenure at the Y, Mark spent over two decades in finance as director of finance and accounting at Teachers Credit Union and chief financial officer at United Federal Credit Union. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Western Michigan University and an MBA in finance and economics from Indiana University.

Mark currently serves on the board of directors for Niles Community Schools, Greater Niles Chamber of Commerce, Be Health Berrien Steering Committee, Corewell Health Foundation Southwest Michigan, Niles Downtown Development Authority, and Hunter Foundation.

In his free time, he enjoys cheering on the University of Michigan and spending time with his wife, two children, and granddaughter.

Sydney is a dedicated Administrative Assistant in Health Sciences. She began her career in 2018 as a student worker while attending LMC. After her studies, Sydney returned to Lake Michigan College to join the team of Health Science. In her free time, Sydney enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Mrs. Wilczak Wood received her B. A. in French and Anthropology from Central Michigan University, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and the Universite du Quebec a Chicoutimi, Quebec, Canada. Mrs. Wilczak Wood received her Masters Degree in Art History from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan. During her graduate studies, she worked at the Kresge Art Museum, where she organized an exhibition on Piranesi, The Flint Institute of Arts, where she lectured on Graphic Arts of the 19th and 20th Centuries, and the Detroit Institute of Arts in the Registrar, Graphic Arts and Conservation Departments.
Susan Wilczak Wood has over 20 years of curatorial and fine art management experience during which time she has curated over 100 exhibitions. She has worked with some of the world's finest sculptors and artists through exhibitions and commissions. She has commissioned major works by the glass artist Dale Chihuly and the sculptor Richard Hunt. While playing a part in the Smithsonian Institutes Save Outdoor Sculpture program, she received their Public Awareness Award. She is a former board member of the Michigan Alliance for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage, Michigan Legacy Art Park and the Michigan Museums Association.

Her select Publications include, Three Caribbean Artists, LM Publishing, The Netherlands, Island Reflections: The Contemporary Art of Curacao, Depree Art Center and Gallery, Hope College, curatorial remarks for the publication Antepasado di Futuro, Curacao, Richard Hunt in Michigan for Sculpture Magazine.

Select presentations include: Public Art as an Economic Tool, Landhuis Bloemhof, Curacao, Public Art Advocacy in Southwest Michigan, Midwest Art History Society, Curatorial Approaches, Dallas University Department of Art and Contemporary Women Artists of Curacao, Australian National University, Canberra, New South Wales, Australia.

Mrs. Wilczak Wood holds a prominent place in the Midwest fine art and sculpture scene directing and managing regional, national and international exhibitions. In the area of public art programming she has worked with city, county and State officials. Over the past years she has been actively involved with the visual arts scene on Curacao, Dutch Caribbean. Her Public Art projects include: Mid Town Detroit, the Detroit River Front Conservancy, the Harbor Shores Community Re-Development project in Benton Harbor Michigan and Harbor Village, St. Joseph, MI.

She has held the position of visiting Lecturer of Art History,at Hope College in Holland, MI and Aquinas College, Grand Rapids, MI. and has taught also at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, and the Flint Institute of Arts, Flint, MI Currently she is Art Lecturer in the Arts Department at Lake Michigan College, Benton Harbor.

Jeremy Woolery is the Head Women's Soccer Coach at LMC. He has been heavily involved in the local soccer community on different levels and ages. He was an assistant coach with the Girls Varsity Soccer team at Lakeshore High School and lead the Boys Varsity Soccer program at Bridgman High School as head coach. He has been chosen as MHSAA Coach of the year on 3 different occasions while at Bridgman. Jeremy has also been involved with youth soccer in Southwest Michigan since 2003 when he co-founded Athletic Jaier FC along with his brother Jason Woolery. He is currently Director of Coaching and Technical Director for Jaier FC.

I teach college classes (both on site and online) for several colleges. My primary courses are English Composition I and II, Intermediate Composition, Technical Writing, and Introduction to Film. I also teach education courses (e.g., Exploring Teaching; Education Foundations). I have worked as a freelance writer for a regional women's magazine as well as a writing specialist for a four-year university in Iowa. I am a certified through Pearson Education as an online course developer. I am passionate about empowering students to develop their learning and writing skills in order to not only succeed in their degree programs but make an impact in their schools, communities, and professional endeavors. The fundamentals of communication are an important building block in a student’s education. Understanding how to best communicate is a vital skill for anyone who desires to achieve success in any human endeavor.

Professional/Real-World Experience: I teach a variety of entry level and upper college courses within the English discipline, including composition, literature, technical writing, and film. I also teach education courses for students majoring in education. As a campus writing instructional specialist, I served as a resource to both students and faculty. I served as lead mentor to teaching assistants serving in undergraduate courses.
