The U.S. Department of Education has awarded Lake Michigan College a five-year federal Upward Bound grant totaling $1,932,210. 

Two deserving students from Lake Michigan College’s Start-to-Finish program will be awarded $25,000 each ($50,000 total) in scholarship funds as part of the Jack and Barbara Nicklaus KitchenAid Senior PGA Champions for Change Scholarship Program.

After 2020’s ceremonies were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and 2021 festivities were modified to an outdoor drive-thru event, LMC returned to the Mendel Center Mainstage on Sunday, May 1 for its 75th Commencement.
